The team
Seven writers, four sections, no ghost bylines. Every article on this site is signed by the person who played the game.
GuildGamer is a small desk. Everyone here writes, and everyone here edits somebody else's copy before it publishes. There is no anonymous staff byline, no syndicated filler and no content written by a model and passed off as reporting. If a name is on a piece, that person played the game and stands behind the verdict.

News
Amara Okonjo
Valve, platform hardware, and the gap between an announcement and a ship date.
Files the Steam Deck and storefront stories. Reads the SEC filings and the changelogs so the rest of the desk does not have to, and refuses to run a rumour without a name attached to it.

Guides and setup
Callum Fairweather
Helldivers 2, controllers, and anything that can be fixed with a screwdriver.
Solo-cleared Helldive difficulty without a support weapon and then wrote down how, twice, from a clean save. Takes peripherals apart before recommending a replacement.

Reviews and news
Dae-sung Park
Hollow Knight, action platformers, and network outages.
Put a hundred and forty hours into Silksong before scoring it. Also the person who finds the config-file fix at two in the morning when crossplay falls over.
-
Guides and setup
Iwona Brzezinska
Baldur's Gate 3, CRPG routing, and PC builds under a console budget.
Maps Act Three quest order the way other people map subway systems. Prices every build in real money on the day it publishes, sale prices clearly labelled as sales.

Guides
Noor Haddad
Elden Ring, build theory, and damage maths that survives a patch.
Runs the numbers on bleed scaling and then goes and proves them on a boss. Will tell you when a famous build has quietly stopped working.
-
Guides and reviews
Priya Raghunathan
FromSoftware, Silksong, and the case for difficulty as design.
Writes the long ones. Went back to Shadow of the Erdtree two years after release to work out what has held up, which is the kind of piece nobody commissions and everybody reads.

Reviews and news
Tomas Willoughby
FromSoftware, self-imposed challenge runs, and what the leaks got wrong.
Cleared Honour Mode solo with no summons and then argued it is easier than it sounds. Covers FromSoftware announcements with a healthy suspicion of anyone claiming inside knowledge.
Writing for us
We commission occasionally, mostly guides for games nobody on the desk has finished. A pitch should name the game, the thing you have already done in it, and the one sentence a reader would take away. Send it to contact@guildgamer.com. Rates and terms are set per commission and are agreed in writing before you start.
